Following the success of the Art Alliance Austin 2012 season, we were again invited to devise a concept for the full 2013 calendar of activities. As in the previous year, we came up with a flexible but generally unified concept for the 2013 season, with individual identities for each event. The 2013 season consisted of Art Night Austin, an upscale gallery tour paired with food from some of Austin’s premier restaurants, and Art City Austin, an art festival that takes over a main thoroughway of Austin for a day in the Spring.
The identity of the festival needed to have wide appeal, while positioning the brand as cutting-edge and unique. The branded design was broadly applied both years, and included print, radio, and television advertising, as well as event collateral, badges, tickets, and outdoor wayfinding designs.
To complete the brand refresh these brands and their parent organization, we redesigned of its website to be fully responsive, retail enabled, and easy for the small staff to maintain.
The materials created for the Art City Austin festival in 2013 included print and television promotions, online materials, tickets, badges, a program map, collateral, and OOH.
