Loto Detox Branding

Design can really change a brand

When fitness enthusiast Iris Masi decided to start premium juice and detox company, she knew branding would be a big part of the customer experience. So she called In-House partner Alexander Wright to design a logo and brand application. In the process, the brand took a new shape and was reimagined as Loto Detox, which launched in early 2015.

When we started, Iris had a name in mind: Lakshmi. And the aesthetic would be kind of mystical, filled with patterns. However, the look was obscuring direct view to the juices. So our design process changed the course of the brand, exploring a new name and a clean and modern direction: Loto Detox was born. To make the small batch brand stand out without requiring a massive investment, we designed clear stickers that would be applied by hand each time. This underlines the handmade aspects of the brand while helping Loto remain operationally sound.
