The brainchild of studiomate Alexander Wright, Alicia is a display typeface with character. The playful font is equal parts fun and sophisticated, featuring construction that is based on geometric forms. Each of the characters – letters, punctuation marks and numbers – are built from three simple shapes; the triangle, the circle and the rectangle. This font celebrates the diversity and individuality of each letter without sacrificing the cohesiveness of the font family.
The nice folks over at GrainEdit put it this way: “This face is a good example of taking the ideas and eccentricities of lettering and creating a functional product out of them.”
